Leatherworking and Enchanting are flexible raid-oriented options, but Feral, Balance and Restoration need different gear. A nature caster should not choose Spellfire expecting nature damage. Check whether your party actually needs drums before replacing a useful gathering profession.
Start by pricing the exact crafted item, recipe and skill leveling. Compare reputation and dungeon alternatives and the likely replacement date. If you are still leveling or undecided about your raid role, keeping a gathering profession can be the better use of gold.
For arena, check the item’s restrictions and compare defensive equipment rather than copying a raid crafting list. Party support such as drums should be coordinated with the actual roster. A phase change can make a previously attractive craft less urgent.
