Destruction Warlock in WoW TBC
Choose efficient caster damage, while keeping curses and resources disciplined.
Destruction is a strong TBC raid damage direction. Common raid builds invest in Demonology for Demonic Sacrifice and do not necessarily take Conflagrate. A Shadow Bolt build and a fire-focused build need different gear and spell choices.
How Destruction Warlock plays
For a shadow raid build, Shadow Bolt is the central cast and the assigned curse remains your responsibility. A fire setup uses its own Incinerate and Immolate priorities. Manage threat, Life Tap and cooldown timing; do not copy a later-expansion rotation with unavailable abilities.
Leveling a Destruction Warlock
Affliction or Demonology usually offers a more comfortable pet-supported solo leveling route. Destruction can level, but cast interruption, mana and incoming damage make it less forgiving. Decide separately how you will reach 70 and how you will play in a raid.
Destruction Warlock in raids & PvP
Raid damage potential does not remove the need for utility, health management and threat control. Arena often favors hybrid survivability builds instead. Choose fire or shadow gear deliberately: Spellfire benefits fire and arcane, not a Shadow Bolt damage plan.
