Deep Demonology offers Felguard-centered play and a durable solo experience. TBC has no Metamorphosis. The popular arena Soul Link/Siphon Life hybrid combines Demonology and Affliction talents and should not be confused with a pure deep-Felguard build.

Control the pet explicitly, manage its positioning and use Life Tap when it is safe. Damage spells and pet choice depend on the build and target. Pet survival is part of your workload, not an automatic background bonus.

Demonology is attractive when you want durable pet-supported questing. Learn to recover when the demon dies and carry the resources needed to summon again. Affliction is the alternative for damage-over-time questing; choose the rhythm you actually enjoy.

Deep Demonology is a playstyle choice in raids rather than a universal damage leader. Arena guides often refer to hybrid SL/SL builds. Compare the exact talents and pet role before using a general specialization name to choose gear or a partner.
