Elemental Shaman in WoW TBC
Support a caster party and make clear casting windows count.
Elemental combines ranged spell damage with party totem support. Totem of Wrath and Wrath of Air affect nearby party members in TBC. Bloodlust or Heroism is available to all Shaman specializations; it is not exclusive to Restoration.
How Elemental Shaman plays
Lightning Bolt is central to sustained single-target casting, with Chain Lightning used when mana and targets justify it. Flame Shock is not a mandatory opener in every raid rotation. Place totems for the actual party and movement pattern rather than assuming they cover the entire raid.
Leveling an Elemental Shaman
Elemental can quest effectively but requires mana recovery. Enhancement offers a different weapon-driven leveling route. Compare the gear you can obtain and whether you prefer stationary spellcasting or close-range weapon combat.
Elemental Shaman in raids & PvP
A caster party can value Elemental support even when personal damage trails other casters. Bloodlust lasts 40 seconds and affects the party in TBC. In PvP, casting under pressure and surviving melee contact are major considerations, not just burst potential.

Party drums and appropriate caster pieces can support a planned raid role; ring spell-damage enchants are a flexible second benefit. Tailoring is an alternative for specific Spellstrike pieces, not Spellfire nature damage.
