Choose heal size and timing for incoming damage rather than chasing maximum overhealing. Maintain the assigned blessing and use defensive utility deliberately. Moving under pressure can be harder than on a healer built around instant healing-over-time effects.
Leveling a Holy Paladin
Retribution is commonly more comfortable for solo leveling. Holy can support a steady dungeon group, but it is slower when questing alone. Keep a damage equipment set and avoid paying for a final raid profession plan before you know your preferred role.
