Fury Warrior in WoW TBC
You do not dodge the chaos. You dual-wield straight into it.
Fury dual-wields massive weapons and rides the Windfury Totem proc chain into some of the most viscerally satisfying melee damage in TBC. Excellent sustained DPS that scales hard with gear, Fury is the default raiding choice for most Warriors throughout the expansion.
How Fury Warrior plays
Fury is a rage-hungry dual-wield spec. You keep Battle Shout up, hit Bloodthirst and Whirlwind on cooldown, and dump excess rage with Heroic Strike or Cleave while Flurry and Windfury procs speed up your swings. Death Wish and trinkets line up burst. Once the gear and rage are flowing it is a fast, aggressive, viscerally satisfying rhythm of nonstop attacks.
Leveling a Fury Warrior
Fury can level but is rage-starved and gear-hungry at low levels, so many Warriors level Arms and switch to Fury for raiding. With dual wield and good weapons it kills fast, though the lack of self-healing means careful pulling and plenty of food and bandages between fights.
Fury Warrior in raids & PvP
In raids Fury is the default Warrior DPS spec — excellent sustained melee damage that scales hard with gear and Windfury, plus Battle Shout and Commanding Shout for the group. In PvP it hits hard but is less favored than Arms, lacking Mortal Strike and more exposed without Arms' control and burst tools.
