How Elemental Shaman plays
Elemental is a hard-casting caster with totem upkeep. You drop your totem set — Totem of Wrath, Wrath of Air, Mana Spring — keep Flame Shock ticking, and hard-cast Lightning Bolt as your core nuke with Chain Lightning for packs. Elemental Mastery guarantees a crit burst on demand. The rhythm is steady casting punctuated by re-dropping totems as you move between pulls.
Leveling an Elemental Shaman
Elemental levels at a solid pace — Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning hit hard, and mail armor plus self-heals make you sturdier than a cloth caster. You will stop for mana more than a melee spec, but totems, Earth Shock interrupts and the option to melee in a pinch keep you moving well toward 70.
Elemental Shaman in raids & PvP
In raids Elemental brings Totem of Wrath and Wrath of Air, buffing every caster's hit and spell power around it, so you raise the whole group even where your personal damage sits mid-pack. In PvP its Lightning burst and Elemental Mastery hit hard, but with limited escapes it relies on totems, shocks and positioning to survive.
