Best Alliance race
Draenei
Draenei is the only Alliance Shaman race — and a good one: Heroic Presence gives your party +1% hit and Gift of the Naaru adds sustain for Restoration and Enhancement.

Best Horde race
Orc
Blood Fury boosts both attack power (Enhancement) and spell power (Elemental) in TBC, and Hardiness resists stuns. Troll Berserking is an excellent alternative for haste; Tauren adds health and War Stomp.
