Balance Druid in WoW TBC
You call down the fury of the sun and moon, and let the wilds do the rest.
As a Balance Druid you channel Wrath and Starfire from a distance, building Eclipse-less but steady ranged pressure while keeping access to every other Druid utility — innervates, battle rezzes, and shapeshift escapes. Mana is your real enemy, not the boss.
How Balance Druid plays
Balance is a straightforward caster rotation: keep Moonfire and Insect Swarm ticking, then hard-cast Starfire as your main nuke and fill with Wrath when you need a faster cast or want to save mana. Faerie Fire strips armor for the melee, and you can weave an Innervate or an emergency Battle Rez without leaving caster form. The challenge is not the buttons — it is stretching your mana bar across a long fight without going oom.
Leveling a Balance Druid
Balance levels at a comfortable pace: you nuke from range, and if a mob closes in you can shift to Bear or Cat to finish it or escape. It is not the fastest leveller, but the flexibility to heal a dungeon, tank a pull or nuke a pack makes it one of the most self-sufficient ways to reach 70.
Balance Druid in raids & PvP
In raids Balance provides Moonkin Aura (raid-wide spell crit) and Improved Faerie Fire, so you buff every caster around you even when your personal damage sits mid-pack, with Battle Rez and Innervate for clutch utility. In PvP its damage is modest, but instant Moonfire, roots and Cyclone give it real control as a hybrid caster.
