The Druid is the ultimate hybrid — the only class that can fill all four roles by shapeshifting into different forms. That flexibility is the whole appeal: one character can tank a dungeon, heal a raid, deal ranged or melee damage, and travel faster than anyone, without ever visiting a trainer to change spec mid-session.
Your talent spec decides your main role. Balance is a ranged caster that gives the raid Moonkin Aura; Feral covers both tanking (Bear Form) and melee DPS (Cat Form) from a single tree; Restoration is a top-tier heal-over-time healer. Feral is the fastest, most self-sufficient way to level, while Balance and Resto usually quest in Feral gear and swap for group content. If you hate being locked into one job, the Druid is made for you.
